I got home a couple of hours again from your grandmother’s house. Sh loves you so much. I know that’s why she worries about you. She’s really wishing hard for us to work things out. I feel a pressure just above my stomach when I think about it. I don’t want to disappoint her but I also know that this working isn’t only up to me. You have to decide if this is what you want, too. If I’m what you want.
You messaged me when you got home from work and said:
“Can’t wait to see you tomorrow.”
I got a rush of giddiness that flowed through me. It started in my belly and danced and bubbled its way up and out. I had a huge smile on my face. It feels so good to hear you validate your anticipation. It makes me feel wanted and valued. That’s how I know words of affirmation is one of my love languages. Something as simple as you expressing impatience to see me also makes me feel more at ease about how I feel. I miss you. I’m so excited to see you. I feel like tomorrow can’t come soon enough!
I’ll be pretty busy all day. I need to get some lice shampoo for Eleanore. I want to look for a new outfit to wear for tomorrow night. I have a baby shower to attend (I still need to wrap the gift). Tristan needs dropping off at the game store. And I need to pick up the pizza for our date! My toes are wiggling I’m so excited.
The sooner I get to sleep, the sooner it will be tomorrow!
